If there is water in the transmission it probably going to have to be rebuilt . I flooded my transmission in a pond right after I rebuilt it , so I flushed and changed the fluid five times (very expensive) and I thought I had it all out . This winter it drove fine till about a month ago then it started slipping I checked the fluid and it looked full , so I took the transmission pan off and it was still just full of water . So now I have a new transmission and will not be taking any more trips through the pond .
