99 Bravada-door jamb switch
Greetings, first post in here. 99 Bravada- interior lights stay on all the time unless overrode with dome override switch. Saw in some other forums that jamb switch on side of dash does nothing, literally. Pulled mine out and saw its connected to nothing. So, its in the door. Is this switch in the handle assembly? Any other advice?
Held in the door plungers in the back doors manually, didn't make a difference, assume its in the front. Thanks.

The switches are part of the latch. You have to pull the door panel, peal back the weather deflector, and then disconnect the electrical connection at the latch itself.
I would recommend pulling all of the switches and taping the connection so that it A) can't fall back inside the pillars/tailgate/etc and B) doesn't ground out completing the circuit and keeping the light on.

Thanks for quick reply!
I believe the back door plungers do actually function in the jamb, I don't think the lights came on when the back doors were opened, but don't remember. Guess I will start with the front.

Do you know of the part number for this in the front door? Not having any luck finding it so far. Thanks.
