Is the check engine light on? If so, what codes were retrieved?

Kinda hard to tell from the audio, but I'd check the routing of the spark plug wires first. Pretty common "rookie" mistake to transpose cylinders 1 & 3 on the distributor cap.

i actually just put the intake and distributor back on. Had to re align the oil pump drive to get it right. No codes, it actually drives great if you were deaf. I have done a little reasearch and the noise does sound like a rod bearing. Was hoping it was something else. If someone has had their truck make this sound and they know what was wrong with it let me know.

Like I said, hard to tell with the audio, but it certainly could be a rod bearing.
