Abs module

I had an intermittent ABS light for well over a year. Performed a fix that has lasted over 3 years now with no issues.
Pulled the module off the top of the unit, carefully took a razor to the sealant holding the plastic cap on the top of it. After popping the cap off, just reflowed some of the solder joints inside. Then used clear RTV and sealed the cap back on and let it cure over night.
Reinstalled, the light never came back on, ABS works great (have tested it several times, both intentional and unintentional...)
I don't remember where I seen the info, but there's either a thread or a YouTube video out there of the procedure.

What I usually find is the sensor in the wheel hub is the culprit for an ABS light being on. If they are removed and the ends cleaned the problem usually goes away. What makes you think that it's the module itself?

Mostly, because my scanner gets an error message. It can't connect to abs module.

I have the same problem on my 96 blazer, it is on all the time but i have no problem with my brake system. I just put some black tape on the light area.. I know that's not good to do but when it drives you crazy it does it's job.
