Abs problem

Default Abs problem

My ABS kicks in at slow speed breaking my light is on and I was told that you can disable it buy disconnecting the speed sensor is this true and is hard to do?

i have a second gen my haynes book says its in the trany housing near the output shaft

Pull the codes first to diagnose the problem. Then just pull the abs fuse. You dont have to crawl on your back to do that. That way it wont kick in at the wrong time. Make the repair and then plug the fuse back in.
