went bad (along with the pulley) I dont want/need to replace the compressor as a whole right now since summer is basically over with. But is there a way to just replace the pulley off of it?

 

Not that I know of. You could buy the AC Delete kit from LMC Truck. Its just a pulley with a bracket. Its like $30.

Yea basically. I don't think you can get the pulley off the compressor. I believe its one compete unit. I had mine replaced a few months back ($1100) And it sucks. I wish I went the AC delete kit. I use my windows anyways.

i really dont want to replace the whole thing, but if that is what it is going to take to get rid of the chirp, then i dont have much of a choice...

I have this nifty a/c bypass pulley I will sell you.. PM me for details.. I used this for a couple of months until I could replace the compressor.

And yes, $1100 bucks for cold air! Its ridiculous. But I was stranded with the compressor seized and had to have it towed.
