Platinum is the standard plug designed for these vehicles.
Iridium will also work. Iridium plugs were originally designed for a coil on plug ignition system. Those ignition systems use a lower output voltage.
When setting the gap on your plugs do not use a coin type gap tool. Use a wire or feeler gauge type tool with precious metal type plugs.
