The AC is leaking hard from these lines, freon, oil, anything that's in there. The washers in there are new, and I'm not sure at this point what to do. The compressor was replaced less than a year ago.
It was about 10 months since I vacuumed my system and charged it that I noticed this issue. The compressor clutch doesn't engage unless I short the switch on the accumulator, which is when it leaks. I fully charged the system to have it leak out completely in a matter of hours.
The AC worked last year until the clutch on the old compressor locked up which is why it was replaced.
I am seeing a trend in copper sealing washers where they appear to be harder than in the past and this has caused me a lot of grief on brake jobs. What I have been doing is taking all copper crush washers and annealing them before use which softens them. I use a pair of pliers and a propane torch to heat them until they glow red. Then I clean them up and connect everything. I have not had any leaking problems since I started this.
