Default ac stopped working need help please

so about two week ago ac stopped working
- figured it was something small like a connection or fuse
- checked everything under the hood and got the compressor to kick on by "fiddling" with the low-pressure cycling switch connector to the accumulator
- ac worked fine for awhile but then stoped working again
- poped the hood again to check everything again but couldn't get it to run
- after pulling the fuse, ac started working again
- ac quit working again so i checked the connections in back of the instrument panel and under the dash, but everything looked good
- checked the "freon" level with a gauge and it was a little low
- jumped the low-pressure cycling switch to get the compressor to switch on and circulatesome new "freon"
- compressor clicked on and ac worked great but as soon as i disconnected the jumper wire and hooked the connector back up to the low-pressure cycle switch the ac failed to come on !

any help would be appreciated here

i am thinking it is the low-pressue switch ora relay but any info would be appreciated

thanks in advance!

Is the system up to operating pressure? If it is then that low pressure switch might be bad.
