Default AFT in Vaccum canister

Happy New Year,

I have 95 blazer 4x4 4.3 and have trouble with engaging 4 w drive. I hear a shifting noise below but it does not actually do anything. I have been searching out vaccum lines and found AFT inside my canister attached to the hood. Does any one know whats up with this and could this be associated with my 4 w drive issue?

Thanks in advance

Default RE: AFT in Vaccum canister

The t-case uses ATF as the lubricant.
The front axle engages by vacuum from teh t-case.
Follow the vacuum hoses of the t-case. Should be 3 of them attached to the top of the t-case and run to various places. Make sure your t-case is full as well. Should be a fill hole on the back side of it.
