Default Air Bag Light

My air bag light stays illuminated and I would appreciate any insight as how to troubleshoot the problem. The problem originated after I noticed an oil cooling line leak, which coated the bag bumper switch. I cleaned the switch, after replacing the oil lines, but the light is still on. Thanks in advance.

I would start by getting the airbag control module scanned for codes (requires a full feature scan tool). The light being on means that there is a stored trouble code that will assist you in locating the problem.
