Default Airbag light on after heater core replacement

My boyfriend just swapped out the heater core today in my 2000 Chevy Blazer. No major issues in swapping it, heats cranking now. But now the airbag light is staying on when it was never on before. Any idea why? He disconnected the battery before starting the project. Possible blown fuse?

Could he possibly have left the passenger airbag disconnected by mistake when replacing the dashboard?
