Default another ac question

my ac compressor is on the way, its the whole kit the orfice tube and accumulater and compressor. I havnt had ac in almost 3yrs in the blazer. do you think i need to get it flushed still. the compressor never locked up it just couldnt hold freeon. and since theres no freeon i dont see a point to having it evacuated but just charged when the install is done. I know there is a post on how to install it and stuff on here but im more of a seeing and learning guy more than reading and learning. so if anyone is got tips and pics thatd be cool. I just dont want to spend money on gettting flushed if it isnt needed. could i use this to flush it myself http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1785&ppt=C0050

If you don't evacuate the system how will you get a moisture & get the air that gets in when you open the system? Air+Moisture=no cooling.
I can assure you, you will void any warranty from any manufacture.
You better have someone that is a licensed A/C Tech do the job RIGHT.

That flush should be ok if your system has been sealed, but I would HIGHLY recommend pulling a vacuum on your system before you recharge. You need to get the air/moisture out of the system before you charge it. Freon + moisture = bad mojo.
