what part of your heater won't work? blower not blowing air? check fuses?

1) Need more information on your heater... does it blow anything, not at all, only certain settings, etc? As detailed as possible.
2) If you know how to use a screwdriver, then yes, you can absolutely do this yourself. As far as advice... advice on what exactly? How to replace them? What to replace them with? Where to buy parts?

It is possible that the blend door actuator isn't functioning and is locked into the cold position. Do you have manual hvac controls (just blue & red around the temperature control ****) or automatic (numbers around the temperature control ****)?
To remove the grill, locate the spring clips that fasten the grill into the radiator core support. Use a large flat head screw driver to quickly release the spring clips by placing the screw driver blade between the spring clip & the core support & twisting the blade. For the ones under the headlights, gently pull (don't tug) on the grill. The turn signal / fog light assemblies are mounted in the grill so you will have to remove the bulb connectors prior to completely freeing the grill.

Could you POSSIBLY be any MORE obtuse while asking for help?
You supposedly know how to operate the heater controls. Or do you just punch a button twist a **** and hope for the best.
You MIGHT add such trivia as does the air blow out proper SELECTED vents.. does it cool well on AC position... Just because we're nosy!
- First answer.. if it's been that way a while and your truck engine hasnt grenaded yet, it is most likely not the water pump or thermostat. Assuming your temp gauge reads in the normal range and gets there within five minutes of driving.

but
2. judging from your subsequent posts, probably not.

Okay.. NOW.. start your truck from cold. When the temp gauge gets about halfway to normal operating position, feel the hoses going into the firewall. Or feel the pipe nipples they hook to if you can touch them
Are they both warm?
Turn blower on high with temp on heat-warmest. Wait about a minute. Are they still both warm and same temp?
