When I changed out my radio I unscrewed the antenna to make sure the connection was clean and such. Since Then I have tried tightening it 3 times to stop it from wobbling and making noise when I hit a bump. Is there a special way to tighten these back on?

 

2 screws inside hold the mast base. the the plastic angled wedge sits on the paint. tighten down the black circular nut until the wedge can't move. then screw in the mast. I suggest and old rag and vice grips to get it good and snugg.
