Default Anybody here have an AUBURN limited slip locker?

Hey guys and gals!! I'm seriously looking into getting a locker for my 2000 blaze LS... I'm hearing a lot of good things about the Auburn limited slip locker... There are 2 different models that would work. One is called the H/P and one is the PRO. The PRO is a little more expensive, but better lock up resulting from it. I was planning on getting the PRO - but read in a column somewhere that these tend to be noisier that the H/P and not recommended for people looking for a "smooth" diff. What's with that? Are these things really that noisy? Anybody can really tell me the difference on these diffs? Thanks!Matt

i have a auburn hp, with richmond 3.73 gears. i have no noise. i leave 2 even black marks when i put the pedal down. i just installed a couple months ago and have no problems. i would recommend getting the hp series for every day driving. i hope that helps you.

Thanks for the input! I might go with the HP since it is my DD... I don't think I need to go with the pro - but I'm always trying to get the best out there!!! :-) probably one of my biggest faults...

Anyway - thanks again!

I haven't put it in yet... Since it's going to cost me about $1,000 to put in - I'm saving up some cash to do it... I have $500 so far and working on the other $500...

Hoping it's a good upgrade that helps me a bit off road!

Thanks,
Matt
