Default Anyone know how to trick the Air Pump

I have a code for a secondary air circuit malfunction. I tested the air pump it does not work. I am not interested in installing an air pump. Is there any way that i can fool the computer into thinking that the pump is functioning so check engine light will not appear?

I do not live in a smog state, I have no issues with tampering with the emissions system,

Tampering with emission control systems is covered by Federal law. It doesn't matter what State you live in, it is against the law if the vehicle is registered, licensed, and driven on public roads, highways, etc.

Even if it were legal, it would be far cheaper to fix it properly than to buy the equipment necessary to reprogram the PCM.

Last but not least, forum rules prohibit discussions referring to tampering.

Post the DTC you're getting and we can help you diagnose the problem.

No need to be so defensive,

The codes are

P0410 air injection malfunction

P0418 air injection relay malfunction

P0440 EVAP control system malfunction- This is the first time i have seen this code

I checked the air pump with power probe- it does not work.

Currently I have the air pump relay removed, Both fuses are intact.

No problem, just need to be clear

DTC's must be diagnosed and repaired, starting with the first one that is retrieved. Repairs must be done this way because any subsequent DTC's can be caused by the first one. After the repair, all DTC's must be cleared from memory and a General Motors Driving Cycle performed exactly as written. The drive cycle will force all monitors to run and complete their tests. You don't need to do the steps in order, but each step must be followed exactly as written or the drive cycle will not complete. If any monitors fail, before, during, or after the drive cycle, a DTC will be set in memory, and it must be diagnosed and repaired. The diagnosis and repair procedure repeats until there are no DTC's after the drive cycle is complete. P0410 is one of the more "challenging" DTC's to diagnose. Following the flow chart, step by step, will take you right to the problem. Here is the flow chart: https://blazerforum.com/forum/diagno...plained-35146/
