Auto Lights Disfuntional

Well, after taking my Blazer to the shop the headlights no longer turn on automatically. It seems as if the manual control mode is stuck on, when pushing the button it just dings but stays in the manual lighting mode. I don't mind this much, but was curious if they shop might of done something?
I took it to the shop to have my remote starter removed. It had a bad ground or something that made it continue to try to start the car, even if the key was removed and if the car was already running! I'm hopping maybe this somehow caused a fuse to blow, but didn't see a dimer fuse on either panel.
So, question, could the remote starter removal and the suddenly nonfunctional automatic lights be related? It seems like two very different systems, but the problem started the day of the removal. The place I went to specializes in remote starters and radios, so they had no idea.

Forgot to update this, the auto lights work now and I have no idea why.
I took it to the shop to have my rear shackles replaced, got the car back, drove it that night and the lights turned on automatically. How the heck are the two related... don't ask me.

Blazenred, if you're still looking to disable that- pop the rt speaker grille off the dash, unplug the sensor in it, and wire a 2.2k ohm resistor from one side of the plug to the other. Shrink wrap or electrical tape it up nice and put your speaker grille back on.
This still leaves you with daytime running lights. To disable them I cut the 86 pin on the drl relay.
Do both those things and you'll have full control over your headlights.
Note: 98 blazer needs 680 ohm resistor, 99+ uses the 2.2k ohm
