I have a 1999 blazer 4x4 and my trans has been on the way out for a minute though it seems, it slips all the time and has a check engine light for a P1870 trans slipping code. I know it needs to be overhauled but does this tsb i heard about do something different that my solve my promblem

Also wanted to know what all rear axles fit in this truck will a camaro from around the same time fit and is the any salvage yard around that have one i having trouble locating

 

One thing that I am fairly sure of is that the last few generations of camaro's do not have leaf springs like our trucks do.

On the transmission, have you changed the filter? How is the fluid level?

 

have done it repeatedly only seems to help for a little while
