Trans. shifting hard on an automatic?

i have a automatic tranny and when it shifts into 1st gear it jerks my entire car for some reason. also when im accelerating my engine will rev really high to the point where my foot is on the floor and i still am not going any faster. but then it would shift really hard. i have no clue as to why.

mine every once in a while jerks out of 1st and thats the only problem i have with mine... this one guy told me supposedly my tranny is missing some spring that returns idk watt so it can shift smoother.. ... idk if it might be the same going for u..
have u checked the tranny fluid? maybe it doesnt have enough pressure build up to shift gears.? idk im just sayy'n

my blazer was doing the same thing shifting hard from 1st - 2nd did trans service still the same friend of mine told me to ohm my trottle position sensor to check for an erratic reading sure enough it was bad changed it and the tranny shifts smoother now and the spring the other guy mentioned is 1-2 3-4 accumilator spring

you say ohm ? i dont know what that stands for or means....lol and for the springs would i have to crack open the tranny to look and or to fix? same with the sensor?

OHM is the measure unit of resistance. Have you checked for error codes? If yes, have you received an error like P0751, Shift Solenoid A Performance Problem?

i miss directed you did not look at year of your blazer sorry have you tried to adjust your t.v. cable you can find the procedure in most repair manuels

some transmissions use a vacuum modulator to adjust oil pressure.Check if yours has one and check vacuum line to it.
