Default Automatic Transmission diffrence how to tell??? for filter change

I have a 98 Chevy blazer LS 4.3L 4x4 134,400Miles and I am wanting to do a tranny service fluid & filter going to be pulling a small camper and want to service it before hand, I was looking up the part # for the Filter and on autozone.com it lists two filters it says 16 Bolt Shallow pan, or 16 bolt deep pan, how do i tell what pan i have? TY

A quick search for "shallow+deep+pan" turned up this post:

Most 4wd s-series trucks came with the deep pan. If I remember correctly, the shallow pan does not have the step in it.

Your luck must be better than mine. Inevitably, I'd tear it apart and have a truck that doesn't fit the normal profile

When I did my filter last year, I had to remove the crossmember so I could drop the pan far enough to clear everything...
