bad battery or alternator?

Something you might try, and this may sound crazy but, start your blazer up and while it is running, disconnect the battery cables from the battery, if it dies right away then your alternator is shot or about shot, if it continues to run then I would look to the battery.
do not do it blow your ecm and that gets costly
