Default Battery cable replacement

Hi, I am replacing my battery cables, but I am unsure if I have the correct replacement. The negative battery cable replacement that I bought at Napa auto parts has the main cable and one smaller cable. The cable that is currently on the truck has the main cable and two smaller cables, both of which go to the chassis. Is it okay to only have the one chassis ground?

Also, due to some electrical problems (weird dash lights, some electrical-heater motor, windows, consol light, etc.-not working), someone suggested that it might be a good idea to check the grounds. Are there any specific areas that I should look at, or is this kind of like finding and cleaning every wire?

no you should keep all your ground wires. removing a ground wire can cause all kinds of electrical problems and things not to work. The big groung should go to the engine and one small to the frame and the other to the body. You should be able to find an aftermarket cable that have a big wire and 2 small wires.
