Blazer 4x4 Problem

Blazer 4x4 Problem
Hi,
I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer 4 door 4 wheel drive. I live out in the country and have to travel 5 miles to my home on gravel roads.
I had to pull over the other day and when i pulled back on to the road my rear tires were spinning so i pushed the 4hi button and it is on solid. So then i tried to get back on the road and the front tires wont spin. The back ones are spinning like crazy but the front ones are barley moving.
But when i push the 4lo button it goes into 4lo and it works. But i cant get the front tires to spin either.
Is there a problem?
