a question from Sweden, the battery light is on, checked alternator brushes, saw the fine,
according to the meter charge it or not almost 11 volts when the car goes

I would check the battery, is the water level OK? Then I would check the connections, both at the battery and at the alternator, do they look corroded or anything? Then I would check the ground wires. Another thing, do you ever smell like a sulfur or rotten egg smell? If you do, that's a good indicator that your battery is bad.

 

I have checked the battery, it's okay. checked the ground wires to the instrument and they are as they should. electrical fault, I am not wise on

 

Sounds like the alternator is bad you should be putting out 13.5 to 14.5 volts if your getting 11 volts you are just reading battery voltage. Get alternator tested!
