Default Blazer Is non-operational HELP PLEASE!

Generic question: would the timing belt cause me to break down on the freeway, and not let my car start, but still allow the engine to crank?

Problem is The blazer cranks fine, I've made sure the fuel pump works by checking the bypass valve behind the throttle body and it shoots out gas. I have replaced sparkplugs, distributor, cap, rotor, coil, ingnition module...no I'm thinking the timing belt is bad....I just don't know why it won't start.
I have checked every fuse, and switched the relays to make sure it's not a relay problem and that did nothing...I tried banging on the fuel tank with a rubber mallet...nothing.

Also my fuel gauge is reading 0 gallons which I know theres at least 10 I put it after it broke down. Also My ABS light stays on...

I really need help with this.

you have to narrow it down to lack of fuel, air or spark. I doubt timing chain and before I went there hang a timing light on it to check for spark. Put a fuel pressure GAUGE on it to know 100% sure what the pressure it---just because you have blood pressure doesn't mean that your blood pressure is good, get it? We (you) need to narrow it down-we all will do our best here to help a fellow Blazer owner...Jerry PS All the proper readings are here on this site-search it or just ask....

More than likely with these blazers,it's going to be the fuel pump, but you might want to try replacing the fuel filter.

okay blazer is fixed now and running.

the rubber coating around the abs wires at the A arm braket were rubbed off causing the wires to weld to the a arm, somehow this caused the ignition to short and was blowing my coil as well as melting my fuses.....so after paying some money she's all good to go.

Still trying to sell her though, no luck....and not for parts >
