Blinking SES light

Default Blinking SES light

Well here i am again well my check engine light is blinking and it running really rough dont have no soucre to get to the local auto zone for the scan tool, any assumptions that i can check before everything please help

Make sure your spark plug wires are good...

Blinking SES light = missfire

I think the number of times it blinks is the cylinder that's misfiring... But I'm not sure...

Other than that... Change your spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and possibly wires as well.

i changed cap rotor and wires not plugs yet

the blinking SES does mean Misfire (could be multipal, random, or specific). When this happened to me, I found two plugs that where broke in half (even though the wire boots where still there like the plug was fine). I would say start by checking your plugs, you should had seen something when you changed out your wires, unless the plug was not busted yet.

In your original post about this problem, I guessed that the code it's throwing is P0300 - random multiple misfires. I'm sticking with that hunch unless you find out otherwise. There are a bunch of things that can trigger this code. Go to this thread, look about halfway down and there is a good representation of some of the issues that can be happening.

Well this is to everyone that has been helping me thrrew my issues.. i installed the fuel pump and it starts now .. but then it started to run rough so i replaced cap rotor wires and plugs because it was really bad rough but i didnt change the plug where the intermiate shaft is yet because i couldnt get to it ... the only thin now is when i take off froma stop it seems like to load up then go any reasoning for this can it b that spark plug or what thank you very much

It could possibly be that plug!!
