You cant measure DC amps with that meter, I suspect that you have a partial short in the power circuit which would explain the melted relay and constant blowing fuses. Have you been able to watch the voltage across the motor wires as the fuse blows? Does the motor overheat?

No. It would just one time not work on high and I'd check the fuse.

Where would the short be? It's not in the hot wire. That's direct to battery. This vehicle has had an electrical issue in the past. Spent a month in the shop. Never got a straight answer as to what was wrong.

Do you have the correct fuse value?

Anything else on that circuit?

What type of electrical problems?

I have a 10 gauge wire 30 amp fuse on my line from the battery.

The original is a 30 amp fuse. Nothing else on circuit.

It just stopped running when i was driving. I asked what was wrong and told everything. They found ground issues us all I can figure.

I think your next move is to borrow a meter that can measure DC amperage so we can see if there is excessive current draw from the motor or a draw when the fan is off.

I will probably just buy one. Any recommendations on a decent, but not pricey multimeter?
