Did you read the same thread I read? My take is that his body mount bolt rusted to the point of breakage and dropped the lower portion of the mount on the ground, not that his body is rusted all to crap. If a body shop looked at it and quoted $200 to fix it, they aren't replacing a ton of metal, just doing what's necessary to get a new body mount bolt installed.

The blazer is done at body shop. The fix went my way. He was able to replace the part and bolt without drilling or cutting the floor board. Only cost me $214 exactly. So, now I am good. He said all the other mounts looked pretty good and solid. Just one bad one. thanks.

Good deal. The body bolt must have broke off where they could get a vice grip on it.
