I have a 95 GMC Jimmy and I replaced a wheel cylinder today and bled it with a vacuum pump. I drove the car about 100 miles today and pulling into my driveway the brake light came on. Looked at all of the lines and no leaks. The light goes out when you put a fair amount of pressure on the brake pedal and comes on as soon as its released.

 

Trigger the ABS bleeding program in the pcm with a capable scanner. Or you could try making the ABS work to help get the air out of the ABS.

 

Thanks for the tip. I locked the brakes up on gravel and the light went out.
