Unhappy Brakes Loosening?

If this question has been solved then please let me know. So my problem is that my brakes tighten up on their own and keep me from accelerating. This problem happens randomly and at times the brakes work perfectly. Also when slowing down the brakes start to make the car bump and shake around 15mph and below. Any suggestions on what this could be? Blazer '97 S-10.

Frozen caliper piston? Frozen slider pins that the calipers move on?

Is it dragging in the front or back or both?

It could be the front since it sometimes creaks as it comes to a complete stop. On some cold mornings it wont make the first stop completely and insteads slides forward and feels like it hops up a bit. Had a mechanic look at it and say its the ABS making the brakes lock up? He also adjusted the brakes but it only temporarily fixes it.
