Default Broken lower control arm

I stopped at a red light and suddenly the front passenger side lowers itself, as if I fell in a hole or my tire just blew up, so I got out checked it and to my surprise the lower control arm broke.

It broke where the ball joint is, I also noticed a broken boot with lots of grease everywhere I'm thinking the cv axle/joint (I dunno )

I'm wondering how difficult it is to fix this?
What else should I check to see if it got damaged?

Here's a vid.

Well, first off you will need a LCA with bushings. Next, a CV axle. Also, the lower ball joint. Other possible damage my be to the spindle, hub/bearing, rotor, tie rod, sway bar, UCA w/bushings, front diff/seals, etc. Only way to really tell is to get in there and see what else was damaged.

Today I got under my truck and took the lower control arm off, the torsion bar was a b@#@#, but got it out. I found out that one of the LCA bracket is loose, looks like the weld gave up.

I was wondering if it makes sense to install the new LCA then drive it to a welding shop or should I have a welder come and weld it now?

Thanks

edit: Since I'm working on the car already, was wondering of THIS KIT is ok for basic city driving?

I would get that fixed before driving it.
