lower control arm
I have a 1999 S-10 Blazer. I have a nasty squeak coming from my front passenger side lower control arm. It is the bushing located at the front most.
From what I see the lower ball joint, shock, tie rod end, need to come off. Will I be able to get to the bushing with-out messing around with the tortion bar?

RE: lower control arm
if you're taking the control arm out, then yeah you have to take the torsion bar off first.

RE: lower control arm
Do the control arm bushing need pressed in/out? My thoughts are if only remove said componets(see first post) and NOT the torsion bar, that I might be able to get just enough access to the front bushing on the control arm.

RE: lower control arm
theres going to be so much tension on that control arm, that you wont be able to move it anywhere. the torsion bars are real simple to take out. they have a tool to make it a breeze.
