Ok I am confused now..... Everytime I went to a website and punched in the 4440 compressor it says it does not fit?? Do you have a pic of your 98 one with it in there? I also read on our sister for s10forum that the 4261 Sanden compressor is the correct one to get, but I went on Amazon and it did not find it. So confused man....😕 I also noticed that the 4440 and the 4261 are both the sd7h15 family which tells me there the same but why does the Sanden 4440 look like it has 2 different holes in the back of the compressor. I'm not doubting you one bit Hook you know your stuff. I just want to get the correct compressor and be done with it hahahahahaha😄

Yes to all the above. Even though it's starting to cool off I still have air now. I hate when things do not work properly. But everything seems to be in order now and compressor is super quiet compared to the old style. Thank you for telling me about that style I had no idea now if my dads 04 one goes out I will tell him about the one I have. 👍 thanks again Hook!
