Default A/C fan blowing but nothing coming out

I'm having an odd issue, after I drive the blazer for about 45 mins at about 65 or so when on max a/c the air stops being directed anywhere it just just blows against the direction changing door like it just closes. I can put it on the setting where it turns the compressor off and blows at your face and it will open the door back up and turn it back to max a/c but it does it again after a little while.

Has anyone had this issue?

you've got a vaccuum leak somewere or possibly a vaccuum clog. Most likely though it's actually blowing up through the defrost vents. Having your truck on Max a/c puts a big load on the engine so see how much vaccuum you have in your engine. should be around 17 in Hg

Is there a most common place to get a vacuum leak? Or is it all a wild goose chase?

After 45 minutes it stops blowing, then you put it to vent and does it slowly start blowing or immediately?

I would think that your a/c lines are freezing up. Once you turn the vent on, it thaws them off and you have movement of air again.

it doesn't take very long, maybe about 15 seconds for it to start blowing out of the vent.
