long story short, my dad and i were fixing my A/C for summer, we got it working had to replace the compressor and then realized that the Max speed didn't work, we replaced the resistor, still no max speed, then we were messing with the blower toggle switches because we accidentally clogged up the holes with grease so it was permastuck on defrost.
well now nothing works.
blower is still functional, we hotwired it and it cycled, we've tested all the switches in the cab and they're all good and working, we replaced the fan speed relay(one of the 3 little box things), and were about to replace a fusible relay (the one that connects to the battery, unless thats not the right one).
also, the wires seem to have electricity running through them, and the connectors seem to be working (according the the voltmeter)
anyways, i need to get back to attaching my second sidestep before i leave for college in the morning.

Sounds like you have gone through all of the appropriate trouble shooting steps. There has to be a problem that you have overlooked though. Fuses all check out? Have you tried another HVAC control module (junkyard maybe)? Faulty resistor module (yes, even the new one)? High fan is fused separate than the rest and has nothing to do with the resistor module.

ok well i did some electrical checking on the system, turns out my fusible link that is right next to the battery is shot. further more, if you look at the electrical diagram on page 12-24 of the haynes manual, the two grounds in the top righthand corner (the one after the blower motor, and the one grounding the blow motor relay) are not grounding. BUT the two grounds themselves are connected.
What should i do about my grounds being bad? and how should i go about fixing this? i only have until sunday to fix this, otherwise im going to have to wait until thanksgiving when I come back from college again

For the grounds, remove them and clean up the metal.

i take back what i said about the fusible link next to the battery. After doing some more trouble shooting i dont think its related or broken, however I am having trouble locating where the fusible links are.
EDIT: do you have an idea of where the ground wires lead, its location is not clear to me at this time.

got everything working, but it sounds like theres a vacuum leak comming from the switch when its on heat mode.
Also, hi fan still isnt working, I havent been able to locate the fuse for hi fan speed
