Default A/C - heating system dead

Hi.

My entire A/C and heating system went dead today. Worked fine yesterday. I have the CCC, Computer Climate Control.

The A/C does not start, fan is dead. I´ve checked every fuse (2 locations) and the A/C relay. "Shaked" more or less every electrical connector it the fan area in engine compartment. Had the control panel outand tapped it and the connections gently.

I suspect the control panel itself, is that a "known" source of problems? Rear defogger is also dead, located on that panel.

Any other good ideas?

I have not experienced this with a blazer, but on a different GM vehicle, when everything went dead, it was the head unit for the HVAC.

Thanks for your reply, swartlkk. I think you were right. My system started working for a short while and then went dead again...

Replaced my 1999 panel#16247325 with a 1998#09351305(looked the same...) and now its working!

I'm assuming you checked your fuses.[&:]
