A/C problem

I have had this Blazer for abut 6 years now. I want to sell it in order to buy a Chevy Short box regular cab 4x4. I can't haul plywood in the Blazer, and I didn't want to haul engine, or suspension parts for my 37 Ford in it. (The 37 has Chevy engine and transmission in it.)

Still.. Should the needle stay in the green at the bottom of the cycle, or top of the cycle??
I got the needle to just sit out side of the green when the compressor turns off. It blows cool air now. It is 86 degrees out there, but it just won't get cold air inside. I still have some cold stuff in that 18 once can.. Maybe I should just put it all in??
I went out a while ago. Started it up. Won't engage, and blowing hot air. There must be a leak some place. Is there a way to look for a leak??

Most over the counter cans of refrigerant has a UV dye added to it. A UV light (black light) will cause the dye to glow making it highly visible in low ambient light.

Ok. Buy a black light. Thanks..

. . . . Also, you're supposed to have a license to handle any refrigerant more so to know how to safely dispose of the chemical and to not cross-contaminate a system if it uses r12 or a propane type and to not be like all the people that would just dump it into our ozone which r134a does effect and causes green house gasses. Sorry bout the rant just don't want someone giving false information because they think it's right to do
