I have a similar issue of the compressor constantly turning cycling within 20 second or shorter intervals it is very annoying when trying to accelerate. But the air comes out of the vents ice cold.

You did not mention if you were getting cold or warm air coming out of the vents is the problem no cold air? or the compressor cycling to much?

apparently i don't know how to use gauges.. had the pressures dead on shop manual specs...it was overfull, and the high pressure switch was kicking out the compressor...evacuated some freon..now it's fine, but the high side pressure is less than 100 (manual calls for 300+, low side @ 20- manual says 35)...don't know what to think, but it's blowin cold...???
