Can I tow my non-working 2000 4x4 blazer?
I dont have a car trailer to put the blazer on so I was wondering if you can tow a 4x4...i have heard that it is not good for the drive train...any help would be appreciated.

if you can put the transfer case in neutral you can tow it, if its a push button 4x4 take the rear driveshaft out

I have towed a couple 4X4 S10s and I removed the rear driveshaft from them. Of course you don't want the front one engaged. No sense in it anyway. I don't know what the difference between 2X4 and 4X4 would be with the driveshaft removed. I used a U-haul dolly and it towed like a dream.

even in neutral the spinning of the transmission could cause problems. if the transfer case is in neutral it wont spin the transmission, otherwise on a 2wd or a 4 wheel drive with push button you would want to pull the driveshaft

Like I said, I always pull the driveshaft anyway. I knew I was doing something right for a change.
