Default can the vacuum ball

thats mounted under the hood have anything to do with my 97 stumbling off a cold start, like after it sits overnight? It'll stumble and try to cut off for just a minute and when it warms up **** perfectly fine. I just noticed the vaccuum hose was loose, thanks for any help

ANY vacuum leak can cause performance issues. The ball itself may not be the culprit.

well i hooked it back up and it still does the stumble....only after it's sat for a good while, mostly in the am when i leave to go to work...i can leave it in park and race the engine and it does fine, but when i put it in drive and go it stumbles and tries to cut off....but only like one time then it's fine.
