Default can't add fuel without nozzle clicking off constantly

I used these forums several months ago when I owned a '98 Jimmy...now I have an 01 Bravada, and I'm hoping I can still post about it here since it is pretty much the same platform.

When I got the vehicle originally, adding fuel was a nightmare. I couldn't do more than 10-15 cents at a time without it clicking off. After doing some searching, I decided to replace the purge canister vent solenoid...upon inspection of the hoses underneath (they all look like they are in excellent shape) I discovered that one going to the fuel tank was disconnected. Reconnected, go to fill up...condition is much better, I can go almost 1-2 dollars before it tries to click off. Would still look to remedy it completely. What else should I start looking for? For what it's worth, I did check all the lines and did not see any breaks/cracks/points of leakage.

Let my clarify, you did replace the vent and purge or you didn't? Every time i have seen this problem its due to those, so if you were saying it looked alright and didn't replace them, i still would

Yup, anti siphon ball is stuck. Remove the upper fill neck and free it up or remove it. The ball is plastic, about the size of a ping pong ball.
