Can't spin front shaft by hand when in 2HI - 4 button system, is this normal?

so yah it's a 4 button system, NP246 TC I think?????

anyways, lifted the blazer today. it is in 2HI, I can spin each front wheel freely, but can not spin the shaft by hand.

is this normal or...........?

I have answered this MANY times in the past. Normal due to preload in the clutch pack.

And the NV246 is the fullsize truck transfer case. NV236 is what you have.
