It will not affect the settings that you programmed. It will assure that they are applied correctly, which may make a noticeable difference in performance, if the relearn data was incorrect.

So Captain, have you have success completing CASE relearn with SES light on with misfire code at start of procedure? This is for my own personal info.

Les, to be quite honest, I've done that procedure countless times over the years, and I really can't remember if the SES light was on or not, or if they had any DTC's in memory. I can tell you that every one was successful.

I think that answers my question. FYI at one point on mine I had difficulty getting the fuel cutoff to happen with my software. Bet it works better with Tech 2.

The first time I did this one I didn't use two feet and took my foot off the brake to raise the rpm s . Brain fart
