CD player

2005 Chevy Blazer owner here. My CD player has quit. Anyone know how to troubleshot this? Thanks

Is it integral with the radio? I doubt these are considered a servicable item.

You are probably best off replacing the whole unit.

However, if this happened to me. I might open up the radio/cd player and see if there is anything obvious that looks wrong, e.g., a dust-bunny blocking an electronic eye used to indicate the cd has been pulled in fully.

I would caution everyone to think twice before using links from 1 post wonders. I'm not sure as to the legitimacy of that website and would say that if you are looking for the paper manuals, go to ebay for a used set. Much cheaper than any of the authorized (or unauthorized) reproductions or the GM originals that are available.
