Default Chassis Grounds?

Hey I was just curious, I keep on going through fuel pump relays and I mean they keep on burning up and are charred and the blazer will just die while driving or at a stop light and no fuel pump hum. Its weird to cause it will work for the initial prime but It seems to be burning them up while driving any guesses? Or any ideas on where to start?

Thanks,
Joe

If the contacts in the relay holder/plug are charred, this can cause chronic issues like this. Increased resistance across the spade terminals will cause heat and burn out the relay more quickly. You may have to get new connectors for the relay holder and/or a whole new relay holder.
