Cheap way to read Camshaft Retard

if you want it as a gauge you will have to make a new one and specify CMP retard. Otherwise you can go to diagnostics and display the PID from there. If you're using a 1996-97 PCM, then you need Dash Command not Car Gauge Pro.

yep, just found another thread after i posted the question. Had your step by step with pictures! Sometimes the directions need to be drawn in crayon for it to click with my dense mind. Thanks! Ready to feel the full potential of the 5.7 in the blazer.

Car Gauge Pro is now called Car Diagnostic Pro
