ok from the day I bought the blazer it has had a check engine light the codes were right bank o2's so I changed all of them cleared codes and drove fine for a week then light came back on same thing right bank o2 but It was #2 which would be downstream changed it for a second time had code cleared drove for about two days light came back on and now its something different I don't remember what orileys said it was but its basically a small vacuum leak but I don't even know where to start looking, the blazer has 120k miles any advice is greatly appreciated

Have them retrieve the DTC's again. Write them down in the order that they are retrieved, and post them here. We also need to know the year, make, model, engine, transmission, 2 door or 4 door, and if it is 4WD.

it is a 2002 4x4 4 door chevy blazer with 120k miles it has the vortec 4.3 idk the trans type, I will have the dtc's pulled again tomorrow

BTW, welcome to the forum! Manual or automatic trans It would be very helpful if you put that information in your signature. It will be there for anyone helping you, each time you make a post. In the grey tool bar just above your first post, left side, click on "User CP", then "Edit signature".

thanks it is an auto trans idk if these things have the 4l60e trans or not if they do those trannys are junk lol I will update my sig

Yes, they do have the 4L60E, and yes, like any other automatic, they don't last if you neglect and abuse them. Change the fluid & filter every 36K miles, no hole shots, and they'll last well over 250K miles, no problem.

I do NOT plan on racing this thing lol that's what my Camaro is for, currently doing a 4l80e swap in it goin from a t56.this is just my nasty weather vehicle and trail vehicle but need to get this problem fixed first and the upper and lower ball joints replaced along with new tires

There are plenty of threads here on the forum for replacing ball joints, in the "How-To" section. Once you have the DTC's, we can help you diagnose the check engine light problem.

ball joints cant be that hard to do right? oh and what do ppl use to get to the middle spark plug on driver side? the one behind the mainfold
