check engine light came on

Tonight I was driving and my check engine light came on. The truck runs fine when I'm driving but when I'm at idle it runs rough. What could be the problem? The motor only has 3500 miles on it

Step #1 - get the codes read! Your truck is trying to tell you what's wrong.

I'm gonna get them checked today. It seems like I'm lacking power also. Could one of my cylinders not be firing?
