Have you checked your air filter?? If it is extremely dirty your motor can't breath, causing what you have described. I took a repo job to Aransas Pass,TX. ( this is close to Galveston,TX) about eight years ago. The job meant that I take my bosses 98 or 99 Dodge with a Cummings diesel engine. I left DFW at 1pm that afternoon, by the time I got to San Antonio,TX the truck was running really crappy and was puffing black and white smoke (bigger than the truck itself) and finally just stopped all together. When we got back to DFW we started looking for the problem. After looking for the big stuff i.e. turbo, injector pump, electrical we found the problem about three days later. The guy did not do a tune up on the truck like he said he did. After trying to charge me for a new engine, We pulled the air filter out and it was black, all the fins were level full of dirt and it was deformed from the turbo trying to suck it through the intake!!

Check your filters and your exhaust components! If your motor can't bring air in or get the air out then this could be yor problem! Hope it helps!!

yes i checked the passlock i put the key in ignition try to start it but did not start so i left the ignition on for ten minutes turned it off for 5 seconds then try start it again i
did that three times but no change i'm begining to think its the pcm unit but how to
test it check engine lights not on so no codes stored i called all auto parts stores
but they say they have no way to test the pcm i'm really agitated with it at
this point don't really want to take it to a shop after all i have spent on it at this
point i should have took it to a shop to start but listen to someone else i thought i
could save some money boy was i wrong

Some vehicles require a forced relearn with a Tech2 (dealer).
